  1. I just read the article. It really upsets me that those men were lynched. What disturbed me the most was that after they were dead, the rope used to hang the men was sold, as 50-cent souvenirs. I don not understand how someone can hate another so much that they find it acceptable to take their life. The act of lynching or any inhumane act against another person goes beyond hatred or fear of competition by another race or religion. I find the mistreatment against PEOPLE (Black, Jewish, White, Catholic, handicapped, etc.) appalling. We are all inherently the same. In the end, all of us, despite our race, or our religion, or how much money we make, will wind up in the same place. Life is short, and it would be so much more enjoyable if people treated others as people, rather than as wild beasts.
